Since taking in Buggsy Ander regenitive abilities have increased seven fold. Ander had been trying to control himself from violence but this search was posing him off he was about to just destroy the entire...

In fact, that could be the perfect way to induce fear into Radix. He would begin to do it soon unless something happened. Just waiting around was just a huge pisser. Besides, maybe he could even find the Coward Ray among the people once it started.

Looking around he put his hand on the back of his be k and began to climb a buildings ladder. As he made his way to the top he began increasing the air Pressure and twisting forming a tornado right in the middle of the city. It would take a minute, but it was going down that was for sure. People would begin to notice soon enough....

Buggy was no mind reader, but he had pretty much figured what this kid was up to already. Rather that resting in Ander's stomach, he had grown from Ander's shoulder again, smiling rather giddily. "This is gonna be a ton a' fun, huh?" His large eyes searched the area, and he could feel the air getting heavier. "Two things though, Kid. First: you know all this destruction won't be here tomorrow, right? Second: you're really kickin' a hornet's nest here. Start this show, and all sorts a' freaks will come crawling outta the woodwork," he laughed. "Might even be bigger freaks than you."

As Madeline walked about the streets, she glanced at the symbol Jake had carved into her left hand. It was a rune, to be certain. Some type of glyph meant to carry out a specific magical function... only, she wasn't sure what it did. He was very vague on that point, brushing off her concerns with the usual amount of smugness she had come to expect. She walked back to Rustici through Latonia, having just come from Caelum with a visit to her mother. It was difficult for her mother to see her like this. Her little girl's right arm, charred and burnt. Blackened from the use of Alekhine-- a powerful genetic drug, with horrific withdrawal symptoms and amazing applications.

It had unlocked within her the genetic ability to manipulate and create from within herself fire. Her body was practically a factory for it. Though, she hadn't been using the Drug often enough to spark a full change. Her body was still mostly human. Using her powers too much had an effect on her. Madeline's right arm was proof of that, though she wasn't sure whether it was her ability usage or a side-effect. The only thing she did know was that she was now trapped by the drug. Without it, her body would decay and collapse onto itself until nothing remained. If she used it too much... she'd become like those freaks Jake keeps locked up in that prison in Crucis: mindless slaves to their next fixed, and barely resembling a human.

The air changed, but she didn't notice it. Not at first, mind you. Then, a sudden blast of wind caught her off guard, and it was sustained too. She looked about the sky, and saw it: a tornado forming, and people running in confusion. Madeline had no idea what it was, though: her whole life, Radix had not been one to have bad weather. Rain, sure. Occasionally a thunder storm. But what she was seeing right now was totally new, and her eyes fixated on it. "What the--" she barely had time to react as a metal bench was tossed from the thing right at her. She braced herself and brandished her arm, delivering a punch to the bench that melted and beneath it around her arm like  cumbersome, metal brace.

She fell to the ground, the weight of the item bringing her down, teeth clenched and grunting angrily as she stared into the twister that sat in the center of Latonia.

Ander had been watching his work, but when he heard Buggsy talk he would reply with an expression that basically said he didn't care. Then I'll destroy it every day. See if it can stop me shall we? The air was rapidly moving now causing cars and people to be pulled in. By now someone should have noticed it wasn't moving just sitting. There curiosity would e his weapon.

Vokun come out and play will ya? A long black water liquid would slide its way out of Anders throat and form a demonic clown with an evil grin from ear to ear. Im really impressed Kidd-O! HAHAAHAHAHAHAHHA! You really are a Villian you old dog! Anyway, Guess I should get to work then? When the clown turned around he was shocked himself for a minute the Tornado had already escalated to a level 3 and was pulling smaller buildings in...

Shocking out of the awe the clown began to shooting off rapid blasts of black lightning at people who clung fr their lives. Then a huge screen would appear everywhere. A little trick he'd hacked into before coming to start a little chaos.... 15 of your dear citizens have died because someone in this damn city has kidnapped a boy named Ray Mitchell! Then ittll who finds and brings him here will get to decide who lives and who dies! Of the boy isn't brought to my attention soon... Kiss your entire lives goodbye. Latonia City is no longer a haven to you. A haven to anyone actaully! It's where my castle shall be built and all of you shall kneel before your King. My name is unknown to you the public. You will only address me as King of this world and any other I take.... Good day people of the Latonia city. Better hurry and decide before that twister he's any bigger.

Ander had a dark grin on his face as the screens went off. The next thing that went were power lines. Police officers rushed but were whipped up in the Torbado themselves. It was absolute chaos and soon every god, and every single Universe would know of him. This would be the start of a new Empire.

Ready for the second checkpoint.. Empty Re: Ready for the second checkpoint..

Post by Riley Oran Mon Apr 07, 2014 9:51 am

It was easy enough to reflect on how he got to this point. He was maybe two, two and a half miles tops out from the tornado. It was something he'd heard about on his world before, and seen the devastation of. A powerful, angry vortex of air the swirled down from the sky and sat in the center of Latonia, remaining in that spot under the orders of the strange boy with one freak on his shoulder, and another by his side. He laid Mister Boom out, fixing the stand and placing the massive gun gingerly upon it, latching it in place as he padded the butt of the gun, and his shoulders to prevent his bones from fracturing.

Robt took a few moments to center the gun on the child. In that time, from the ground, he could see a plume of flame rising from the streets, the flashing of the police's "special action" vans from the distant streets below. There must have been dozens of them, but if he pulled this off, he'd be that mysterious badass who killed a guy that commanded Tornados. Wouldn't that be a spiffy title? "Tornado-Twister". "Wind-Shearer". "Gust-Gloater-Overer"... Okay, so he wasn't good at names. Who was? Did it matter? Not yet, but it would in just a few seconds. Normally it wouldn't be taking so long to center, but from this distance the slightest degree he moved the sight moved it several feet laterally or vertically.

Then, from behind him. "Need help, Robt?" That voice. That cocky, condescending tone. That British accent.

"Thomas, you sack of shit," Robt answered without even turning around. "How did you find me? Was it the a cheeseburger and fries you smelled?" He motioned to a crumpled, worn paper bag somebody must have tossed onto the roof of the building some months ago. "Might still be some crumbs left for you, bottom-feeder."

"Actually, I think the better question would be, 'why are you on top of my building'? Again." Thomas the Gentleman closed his stern, brown eyes and pinched the bridge of his noise, furrowing his two bushy eyebrows into a scowl while his mouth contorted into a sneer. The blew through the black, ruffled hair atop his head, almost disguising the sigh elicited from Robt's actions. "Seriously. Third time this month. Are you daft?"

"Nah, Look." Robt pointed at the twister in the town square as he continued to adjust and readjust his aim. "Do you see that, there?

"Of course I do! You'd have to be daft not to see it."

"Not the twister," he clarified. Still with his hand pointing in the same direction, "That. Them. Those three, standing there like they own the bitch. One of them is raining lightning down on people."

There was a brief moment of silence, then, "You're asking me to see something small over three miles away."

"It's about two and a quarter, actually."

"Even still, I don't have a scope. Or binoculars."

A sigh. "Basically, one of them is controlling the twister. I have no idea who that is out of the three. There's a weird, floating clown-thing-- that's the one with the lightning fetish, a weird-ass bobble heard-devil, and a human. Out of the three, I've killed a lot of humans. I can't tell you about the other two, but I know humans are weak to bullets." As he finished his sentence, he was centered to satisfaction. The dot rested directly upon Ander's head. "Especially if you shoot them somewhere near the face." He turned his head back to Thomas. "Savvy?"

Thomas advanced to Robt's side, his orange skin catching the light splendidly as he did so. As Robt's head went back to his scope, he added, "You look like a fancy pumpkin."

Thomas returned the comment. "I don't know what that is."

An awkward moment of silence, punctuated by the firing of a massive bullet from the chamber. The rifle would fire the massive slug. In less than a second, it would be making impact. From just over two miles away, and bullet that was travelling over three-thousand miles an hour-- the rifle was strong enough to destroy tanks. As far as Robt knew, this would not be ending well for the boy-between-demons.

The little pocket devil smirked as Vokun emerged and congratulated Ander. "Right? The kid's hardcore for sure, isn't he?" He simply sat on the man's shoulder, watching the havoc unfold. He could see flashing lights in the distance, and people scrambling on the ground below. A few of them stood their ground. One of them had a metal bench wrapped around her arm. He grinned, inhaling deeply through his nose. "Can't ya just taste that Sin Energy?" His smirk grew wider.
__________________________________________________________________________________

Madeline was on the ground, screaming. She couldn't stand up-- the bench weighed too much. Sure, her arm was strong, but the rest of her body was weak. She had managed to drag herself farther back from the twister with some effort, but dragging was easier than lifting, and with her arm restrained she couldn't unbend the metal to free herself. She cried out in frustration, and started to panic. "I'm not gonna die here," she wheezed. "I'm not gonna die here. I refuse to die here." Tears were welling up in her face as she clenched her teeth and reach into a pocket, revealing a glowing syringe. The liquid inside of it was a strange, yellow color. It glowed a golden hue, and she glared at it with hatred.

She removed the needle cap, and stared at it. The syringe was small, but the needle was massive. She hesitated for a moment after staring at it. Did it get bigger after all those other times? Why was she afraid of it? Why now of all times did she hesitate. Still standing in the middle of the street she jammed the needle into her strong arm. "I'm not going to die here," she shouted over the people running. "I refuse to die here!" The vial's contents flowed into her arm, burning her like some vicious, toxic warmth. It spread into her fingertips, into her spine, and she reeled back in pain and anguish, fear driving her to cope with the pain. The bench around her arm began to glow molten red and melt from around it. The process was slow, but happening. From her mouth came a feral bellow and a massive plume of fire shot forth from it at the twister.
__________________________________________________________________________________

It was only a few seconds later that the Police's Anti-Power Abuse Team, or APAT arrived on scene, just after Madeline had spat fire at the vortex. About thirty men emerged out of four vehicles, stepping onto the cement with intimidating presence. Of them, three stepped forward. "APAT containment protocol Charlie," one called. "Seal them in, cut them off." The first man raised his hands and began issuing some type of resonance that was in sync with his heartbeat. It was negation magic. Specifically, source negation. It was magic specifically designed to counter source energy, and cancel out magic caused by it's use.

The second man stepped up, and shifted the building behind them into a wall at their backs. He had control over cement, and used the power well. The wall's purpose wouldn't become obvious until the third man fired smoke grenades at the trio, hoping to cough them out. At the same time as a gunshot, three more cement walls raised from the roof of the building, trapping the three within a cement box full of smoke. The bullet would break the concrete and continue it's course, more than likely.

Another agent ran towards Madeline, first noticing the melting metal and second noticing the needle protruding from her arm. He stopped in his tracks, touching two fingers too his ear. "We have a Pawn at our location. Requesting confirmation of protocol." A moment passed as the metal slid from her arm. "Understood." He continued running at her, trying to get to the hysterical woman's side. She looked a mess, sweating from her own flames. The arm that shot fire out was burned and ugly, and developing more burns from the molten metal. He motioned to her. "Miss, my name is Conner Sandel. I'm with APAT. I'm here to help you."

Her eyes were wide and wild like an animal who had been trapped. She stared at him from under fizzy, wet hair with fear and loathing in her gaze. "I'm not dying here," she whispered under her breath. "I'm not going to die here," she reiterated. Conner placed a hand on her shoulder, and turned behind him to see the twister.

"Everything will be alright. You aren't going to die here."

Ander had been to busy controlling the now level 3 tornado he had no time to pay attention to his surroundings. Thankfully Vokun did with a smile he rested his hand on Anders shoulders and just as the cement covered he threw the boy and himself theough one if his magical mirrors. It took the to the building that was across from the previous. Robts bullets could t shoot through a twister and the police hadn't seen them change areas. Vokun would shoot his impact lightning strikes at the three while Ander got himself ready to complete his massive Tornado....

Almost done....

Ready for the second checkpoint.. Empty Re: Ready for the second checkpoint..

Post by Riley Oran Fri Apr 11, 2014 2:33 pm

As soon as the cement walls went up, Robt cursed aloud. "Damn it," he shouted! "Damn it! Damn! It! Damn it!" He slammed his fist into the roof of the building in rage, and Thomas shook his head. Robt was absolutely livid. He had the perfect shot. He had the perfect hit. But that fucker raised that cement just in the nick of time-- at just the right moment. He recognized the suits, and definitely recognized the rock head. "Thak fucking Ni," he cursed under his breath before shouting, "Thak fucking Ni!"

Thomas snickered behind him, observing as Robt scrambled to pull out his binoculars. "That rifle can blow up tanks can't it? I don't see the wall of cement being a problem."

"No, that's not it," Robt sighed angrily. "That idiot. I saw it in the scope, right as I fired. The wall started to raise and then... poof. Those three were gone." He was only on the binoculars for a few seconds, before a smile once more draped itself across his snout. "Found them," came the relieved voice as he handed Thomas the binoculars. "First building on the right of the twister," he called out.

Thomas looked through the lenses as Robt went about readjusting his aim on the two. "It's right next to the twister," noted Thomas. Robt nodded.

"Yeah. They're out of sight of APAT at that angle. Clever for them." Robt centered his target faster this time, and the lock of the bolt could be heard as he readied to fire. "Got you this time, bastard."

"Wait," called out Thomas.

Robt perked up his head and looked at him. "Yes?"

"Won't the twister's suction disrupt the shot's trajectory?"

Thomas made an excellent point, much to Robt's dismay. Robt sighed again, this time out of dejection. "You're right," he admitted. "Time to readjust one more time..."

"Wait, what do you mean readjust?"

Robt went about moving the rifle, centering the scope a few feet to the left of the boy's head, right through the leftest part of the tornado. "It's simple," Robt's explained. "See, normally from this distance I would have to consider wind, rotation of the planet, things of that nature. But Radix isn't a planet," he concluded, tweaking the rifle's aim to exactly where he desired it. "There is no rotation, and only a little wind. In addition, this rifle is made to fire and travels extremely far, extremely fast. One bullet will travel three miles in a tenth of a second, and he's now... about two and a half miles away. The twister just means I have to aim with the rotation, and I can nail him before he even realizes what happened." Once more, the bullet fired.

Before Buggy even blinked, he was on top of another building, staring in a different direction. He suddenly felt discombobulated and tipped off of Ander's shoulder, catching himself in the air with his wings and flying up towards Ander's face lazily, clutching his small hand to his mouth. "Ugh, I think I'm gonna hurl." Buggy moved his wings about dizzily as he tried to center himself back on Ander's shoulder, and shook his head. He observed Volkun start firing off blasts of lightning at the three who had preciously acted in tandem, and shook his head. "These mean business, huh?"
__________________________________________________________________________________

Madeline's body was wrecked from the fire it had expelled. It didn't come from nowhere, after all. She had to burn her own energy, her own fat and calories to make it. Madeline wobbled as the man called "Conner" approached her, the last of the energy leaving her body as she collapsed weakly and the remains of the bench dripped off of her charred arm.
__________________________________________________________________________________

"Did we get him?" Constance's first words of the afternoon were inquisitive indeed, and as he looked about noted that the large vortex was still spinning. The man seemed to be Hispanic in heritage, save for some key giveaways. First was his hair, the silver color of steel and his eyes, violet like a brilliant flower. From his top lip, sharp fangs protruded slightly as the toned man spoke out-- instead of waiting for an answer to his first question, he asked another. "Nathaniel, are you able to handle it?"

Nathaniel had already abandoned attempting to use source magic, and went on to the other obvious method-- Sin Magic. It was difficult to say the least, but negating sin magic, while more dangerous was also far simpler than negating source magic. That was because he wasn't negating it, he was simply "choking" the metaphysical connection that the caster used to make the spell. It also meant that, despite the dangers of using Sin Energy, only a small amount was needed to stop a spell. "Yeah," answered the muscular man back. "It took a second, but I have it." He had a single hand extended towards the twister, and very soon it would start to weaken if not disappear altogether. He was literally choking the sin energy out of the tempo. Without that, it couldn't exist or function.

Thak Ni stared up at the building, before placing his hand down against the earth. Thak Ni, in order to manipulate cement had to know where it was. He could tell your where it rested just by walking around, but with a little more care he could find others. He could feel vibrations in the cement, and as he placed his hand on the earth his eyes widened. "Constance, Nathan," he called out. "They're not contained! They escaped!"

As if to confirm his sentiment, a bolt of lightning struck his body and sent him reeling into the ground. The bolt was powerful-- it had sent the incredible Thak Ni into the earth as though he was nothing, but Thak was up a moment later as Constance turned into a vapor and slid to his side. "Hold on," he called out, and his body expelled a massive amount of vapor to cloud the area from view. The line of sight was effectively cut. "If they want to find us, they'll be coming down here to do it."

Conner, meanwhile had caught Madeline as she passed out, keeping her from hitting the ground hard. He laid her gently down and shook his head. "Pawns," he scoffed in a joking manner. "Didn't think they came so pretty." He turned around, only to see that the others had been concealed in a thick cloud of vapor. "Smoke-screen," he mused, as he noted the lightning coming from behind the twister. "Somebody stole my motif." In a moment, he would be standing atop the building as well, face-to-face with the group and staring them down.

Anders mind was thinking faster than the speed of sound he would zoom his look from one hero to the next. A tear dropped down his face. He quickly wiped turning his body ready to jump down and take one of the fighters he was shot directly in the shoulder and he could feel the bullet slide right out of the back. The pain was unmeasurable and the pain stung worse than a knife because of the gun powder. This however would give away the one known as Robyn's location stepping through a portal with his two demons he would show up closer to the aliens location judging by the winds rotation to where he had even shot from it was easy to identify the direction it had come from.

Standing not to far from the two he would wait on Buggsy to fix this shit up.  What the fuck are you doing? I'll fucking kill you! with that he summoned a scythe in his left hand waiting on the right shoulder to heal. From hear he could hear the tornado slowing. That was irrealvant though there was another way he was going to destroy this city that was far, far more devastating.

I misjudged the power of the people in this world... Won't make that mistake again.

He put himself on high alert ready to dodge any type of range weapon at a moments notice.

Ready for the second checkpoint.. Empty Re: Ready for the second checkpoint..

Post by Riley Oran Fri Apr 18, 2014 4:57 pm

Robt winced as he saw the shot pierce the lad's shoulder, causing it to explode. He winced at the gore even from this distance, and turned his head to Thomas for but a brief moment. Thomas raised the binoculars still in his hand questioningly and Robt shook his head as he chambered another bullet, and adjusted the aim again to attempt to compensate. "You don't want to see it," he assured. "That bullet cracks tanks open like eggs. It wasn't a headshot, but it nailed him in the shoulder. The thing is a gory mess. He'll bleed to death in a few minutes, most likely," Robt added. He looked passed the gun's barrel, noting the clear skies. Older guns often gave of trails of smoke from the gunpowder. With the gun powder stored in the bullets, no such tell existed.

"Why bother shooting again, then," Thomas asked?

"Two more targets," Robt replied dryly. "And well, maybe I'm feeling merciful. Though, getting the aim right is going to be a bitch now. The tornado is starting to change wind speed. I have to wait a bit more for it to become reliable I'll imagine. Until then, he bleeds." As the tornado thins, he noticed a member of APAT standing on the building with the other three. "Oh shit," Robt stated.

Thomas almost raised the binoculars before hesitating, remembering Robt's warning. "What? What is it?"

'They fucking brought Conner out." Aside from the wind, silence swept the rooftop for a brief few seconds. "Guess he won't need that mercy bullet," he chuckled somewhat awkwardly. "Oh boy, this could be bad."

Thomas nodded. He had heard Conner's name before. Most of APAT actually had origins in his charity orphanages, but Conner was one of the ones that did not. He wasn't extremely familiar with Conner's powers, but his name had reached his ears once or twice. "I've heard the name before... who is he?"

"Imagine lightning." That's all Robt said. Thomas stood silent, waiting for more before he realized that no more would come.

"That's all?"

"That's all." He had readied the rifle to fire on the other one-- the restaurant mascot with lightning powers. "Just a few more adjustments..."
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
The second the bullet passed through Ander's shoulder, Buggy found himself floating through the air as the impact dislodged him and covered him in blood. "Oh, shit," Buggy exclaimed once he realized what had happened. Ander's shoulder... was basically gone, and Buggy immediately flew into his body and merged with the tissue, heading into Ander's stomach. "Hold on kid, I've got you!" He grabbed onto the folds and began to focus energy into Ander's body, but the damage to the shoulder was severe. It would take a few minutes at least for him to get it back to functioning order, but to fully heal it? Ten minutes, at least. He wasn't sure. He simply poured his energy into it, hoping for the best.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
From within the vapor shroud the group of men came together on Nathaniel, gathering around him as he choked the tornado's source of energy and slowly brought it to a halt. Thak Ni placed his hand on the ground and notified the others that Conner was now on top of the roof with the three from before.

"That idiot," seethed Constance. "What does he think he's doing?" For the moment, there was nothing he could do. It was more important that Nathanial be covered to keep draining the twister, and the shroud around them was only lingering as long as he expelled the vapor from his body.

"I'll go," boomed Thak Ni. He turned from Constance and Nathaniel as the former nodded, agreeing that he should attend to the situation. Thak Ni emerged from the vapor as a block of cement emerged from the ground and propelled him upwards, sending him flying to the roof of the building. When he landed, Conner had already taken action.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
It was a few seconds after the initial hit that Conner's mind registered what had happened. Ander's shoulder had just... exploded, and so too did the ground on the other site of the roof. Both of them looked as though they'd been smashed gruesomely with a hammer, and after the initial shock wore off and Ander was still moving, Conner bolted forward. The lightning elemental became lightning itself and was instantly upon the young, injured man as he dived towards him, intended to take the both of them over the edge of the building. Conner would be fine, and likely Ander would be as well. But Conner had done this before, and the speed (as well as the sudden stop in mid-air) caused most beings to pass out. An injured one would surely be no different. This would effectively interrupt any plans Ander had made prior.

The sheer impact of the bullet was wnought to help in pain, but Ander did more than that he yelled so loud that every pocket dimension could probably hear him.. That was all it took to set Vokuns true power off. The tackle was nothing as Ander has already tripled in highth. It was now or never...

Vokun activated.

The now 50 meter giant stumble back wards knocking buildings over. Before looking down and glaring. That hurt.. The god-boy hoped his fellow demon Buggsy was working his magic cause currently he was only with one arm and it was a gruesome sight as a water fall poured in te city flooding it. The wound appeared to be getting better though. Vokun was breathing heavily. It felt like it had 1000 years ago when he had died.. The same arm... The same terrorist scenerio. He didnt know if he'd succeed but currently Anders mind was still blended with his own and his blood thirsty personality was at bay.

The arm appeared to be te growing in place and while it did the Giant looked around and slammed his hand in spots that held dangerous humans. This was a risky battle. One he didnt know if he could win...

It was a few seconds after the initial hit that Conner's mind registered what had happened. Ander's shoulder had just... exploded, and so too did the ground on the other site of the roof. Both of them looked as though they'd been smashed gruesomely with a hammer, and after the initial shock wore off Ander released a loud scream. Almost immediately the demon disappeared, and Ander's body started to grow massive. It was only a few seconds but soon his size let him press right through the building on which they stood, while behind him Thak Ni collided with the roof, staring at the sight that unfolded before them.

"Fuck," a single syllable from Thak that accurately described the situation at hand. As the giant lost his footing and tumbled backwards, Conner shot a glance at Thak and then returned his gaze towards the now giant Ander, his body glowing briefly and then shattering into his true form. The lightning elemental was ready for a fight, and as a giant fist came down it appeared he and Thak had one. It hit where Conner stood, but he had already moved out of the way and began travelling up the being's arm, delivering powerful electrical charges with each step he took, all within the blink of an eye. Moving as fast lightning he had already reached Ander's shoulder before the cracks in the roof had fully formed, and started to discharge a deadly burst of lightning into his ear. The purpose of this lightning would be to stun Ander's nervous system, thus rendering him paralyzed for the time being.

Thak observed Conner seemingly vanish and appear by the giant boy's head in no time at all, while the cracks in the roof formed but never fully gave. Thak didn't take the time to muse or ponder over this, not realizing that it was a hint of the form's limitations. He clapped his hands together, and the buildings that Ander had tumbled into were suddenly stripped bare of all concrete as Thak attempted to mash the thick stone piles that Ander stood over around his legs, melding them together in a single stone mass to attempt binding Ander in place.

Buggy had just had a very odd experience. One moment he was holding on to the folds of Ander's stomach, pupping healing injury into them. The next, he was in a very spacious room that smelt acrid and he become disoriented. "Whoa, whoa, what in the hell is dis?" Did he get smaller? No, no he didn't know how to shrink. Ander got bigger? Somehow? "Dammit, kid," Buggy cursed, "Don't make the wound bigger! It'll take longer! You're losing too much blood!" He resumed trying to heal Ander, working harder than he was even before, but now the wound was too big to close as fast as he needed. He would need more than ten minutes, but he had to try. "Looks I a choose the wrong host," he muttered to himself. "Kid's gonna get us both killed at this rate."

On the ground, the shout came. "Twister contained," shouted Nathaniel, and the vapor around he and Constance started to dissipate in response. They had heard from within the mist the sound of destruction, and as they raised their heads from the mist they saw the full sight that the twister had denied them.

"My god," Constance replied as he observed what had transpired. Now the kid was a giant, and had trashed a handful of buildings in the immediate area. Constance and Nathaniel traded looks. "Can you handle that?" That was the first thing that came out of Constance's mouth at Nathenial, who shrugged.

"I don't know. I've only negated a few rhythms before." He smiled. "But this isn't a rhythm. This is Sin Magic." His hands were shaky from focusing energy on the Tornado, and the obvious damage to his body even after focusing just a small amount was evident. Constance looked towards the man's trembling fingers, and then looked Nathaniel in the eyes. Nathaniel didn't make eye contact.

"It might kill you," was his only response before he headed off. He wasn't going to warn Nathaniel from doing it. Nathaniel had been raised just like he had. Both of them were unafraid to die, and neither of them liked to stop until they had finished what they had come to start. That was how all of APAT was. Dedicated to their mission, and to one another. Constance had too much respect for Nathaniel to tell him not to do his duty. Instead, Constance expelled smoke from his feet and propelled himself upward, avoiding fists thrown by phasing into vapor as they came towards him, and then moving out of the way. He was using concentrated bullets of tranquilizing vapor and firing them at Ander's body. The bullets moved fast and because they were vapor basically invisible to the naked eye, let alone a giant.

The bullets would likely penetrate the skin, and enter Ander's blood stream. Coupled with the blood loss, falling unconscious would soon be his only option if they hit. In the mean time, Nathaniel's body began to glow and he started to channel the Sin Energy from his form and reach out to the sin energy that flowed into Ander's body. All over he was wracked with pain, but his concentration overrode the urge to simply drop down now. That, and his dedication. He wasn't sure how long it would take, but he was certain he could break the rhythm before this got too far out of hand.

Behind these four, the other twenty six members of APAT simply watched. They were all single file, all different species. Humans, Drelk, and Amaranth alike to name but a few. Radix was a world filled with more species than anybody could imagine. All twenty six of these members had a special power, something unique. One controlled gravity, another ice, and still another even controlled color itself. They were but a handful, a taskforce organized to police the most powerful beings of Radix when they got out of hand.

It wasn't often, but there were always beings that appeared who didn't understand their place when they arrived. Maybe they had been the most powerful creatures in their worlds, or maybe they were just egomaniacs or psychopaths looking for a buzz. If the civilians of the world were reluctant to lay down the law, APAT was not. "Confront, Contain, Confine"-- the three Cs of APAT. They had a very good track record, and twenty six more bodies on hand to throw at this scenario with hundreds still who had not been deployed yet.

Robt suddenly stopped adjusting his sites, and just starting firing. It was a few seconds in between each shot, but he didn't worry about needing to hit a smaller target now. Provided, it was still far enough away that he had to calculate where he was aiming, but it was hardly a problem. The target was now several times it's previous size, and there wasn't any tornado to disrupt the shots fired this time. "I sure hope he doesn't shrink," Robt chuckled.

Thomas nodded in comparison. "Yeah... those bullets definitely won't shrink with him." He continued to view the giant in the distance, while beside him the man fired bullet after bullet in a slow, rhythmic fashion.
