Reincarnation

Death in the Omniverse functions like putting a puzzle back together. 

When an entity is born into the cycle of reincarnation, their piece of the Spark of Life is broken up into even smaller pieces, and distributed to their various incarnations around the universe. Once a being dies, Death or one of it's aspects ferries it to a metaphysical plane called "Limbo". In limbo, the spark is reassembled piece by piece as it's energy is returned to it through the death of the other incarnations. Once the spark is completed, which usually takes several thousand years at a time (depending on the life span of the incarnations, when that piece of spark was put into circulation, ect), it returns to the Spark of Life. 

There, it is eventually recalled by Eternity, divided up, and put into cycle once more. Thus, beings are reincarnated.
