The Genesis Project: OUTREACH Program

Post by Cain on Thu Mar 20, 2014 8:25 pm

On occasion, the wayward roleplayer, writer, or storyteller will find their way to us. These individuals will often be welcomed into our community with open arms. Though we are small, we are also intrinsically supportive of one another. This support enables us to be able to lovingly criticize and critique one another without hard feelings lingering. As a community, we are strong despite our size and we will continue to be strong. But, there are some writers and friends of ours who don't have a good home to write, to tell stories, or to roleplay. They may even be referred to unfavorably by the group. As a whole, we may not like these individuals, and we may not trust them, but for their sake as well as ours we must try to

The Genesis Project: OUTREACH Program aims to find these forlorn individuals and bring them to us, that we may integrate them into our community and help them improve in various respects, be it writing, storytelling, cooperation, or general personality refinement. All of these and more are things that I believe we can counteract as a group, and as a site. By doing this we help others by providing them with a safe haven, despite their flaws or perhaps, in spite of them. Where some sites might ban them, I believe we should welcome them.

If you as an individual know of a person who needs a home, or knows of a writer that needs inspiration then please, post up a suggestion topic with (GPOP) tagged at the end. We will as a community discuss this member, present as much proof of their actions as we can, and after we determine a good way to handle them extend an invitation. This doesn't apply to individuals that you feel are safe. Friends are always welcome. But, if a name crosses your mind that causes you concern, please post a discussion topic.

 Thanks guys! Cain
