Omega

A level beyond Alphas and even the Touched, Omegas are genetic masterpieces that come extremely close to perfection amongst their species. Amazingly powerful and levels above their kin, Omegas become leaders of their kind with great ease of thought and forceful leadership. Usually, even their weakest traits are beyond the average of their kin while an Alpha may just manage to eclipse them.

There are three kinds of Omegas: Natural, Artificial and Ascended.

Natural Omegas are born with their talents. They are inherently superior to Alphas and even the Touched. They may develop their powers spontaneously and without much provoking, usually manifesting them at puberty. If the powers are not immediately obvious then they must be discovered though this occasionally leads to great destruction. Before these genetic traits are made manifest, stress greatly affects their potency and any significant stress before the powers are revealed will further increase their potency. In rare instances Natural Omegas are such from birth, and do not require puberty to gain their powers.

Artificial Omegas are created from, with, by, or using technology. They may or may not be technologically based. However, most Artificial Omegas appear grotesque and monstrous. While greatly stronger than Alphas, artificial Omegas are somewhat weaker than Natural Omegas due to extensive modification and deformities that run rampant about their bodies, ranging from bulky and dangerous experimental technologies to tumors and nerve clusters that make movement difficult or weaknesses apparent. 

Ascended Omegas come from Alphas. If an Alpha is 'touched' by Cain, they become this. Their abilities are enhanced to extremes far beyond their imagining, and usually they match Natural Omegas in terms of power and abilities.
