External Characteristics

Name: Roderick McCormick, Blood, Mouse

Species: Human

Appearance: A grizzled old war veteran, Roderick wears his age on his face. With wrinkles on his brow, crows feet on his round, brown eyes and a large, brown beard. His eyebrows are bushy and his hair long and ragged. His skin is dirty and tanned, as well as his beard and hair being tangled with bits of dirt caught in the oily strands. The beard is indeed a neck beard, and is quite unkempt. The beard covers even his mouth, leaving very little of his face visible.

His body is reflective of his age, and his previous condition. An ex-SAS sniper discharged for severe injuries due to equipment malfunction, he has nerve damage on his left-hand side and plenty of ugly scars to show. His body is not chiseled, but his muscles are somewhat visible save for his abdomen, which is concealed by his gentleman's ponce.

Statistics:

As a man past his prime who has had a hard life, Roderick is fairly physically fit. He is limited by arthritis and nerve damage, but his muscles are that of a healthy man nearly ten years years his junior.

Internal Characteristics

Personality: Roderick is a loner by nature, and while not a totally selfish person is extremely pragmatic. He sees the Amaranth Invasion as the apocalypse, and he is beyond determined to weather it. He is analytical and intelligent, cold and emotionless, and has trained himself to make decisions that are morally confounding by simply repeating the question "What are my chances" to himself.

He is not sentimental. He is not swayed or tempted by thoughts of mercy once crossed. He is able to kill for food, medicine, and ensuring his longevity.

Habits/Quirks: Roderick picks up random odds and ends from out in the field. He particularly likes collecting old gun parts when he can find them.

Roderick, at age seventeen joins the British Armed Forces to escape an unsatisfying home life
