Kate Speaking Her Mind

Been gone for a couple of days. Been doing lots of things and was busy, but I'm back now. Welcome all you new peeps. A few if not all of you know me as Astral from another site (and that is the primary name I go by. Blame Riley for this one.) I am one of the admins here at the Genesis Project and I look forward to RPing with you in the future. Before I do so though I would like to lay some of me issues on ya.

I am a little upset. Not so much that it'll effect my RP but I feel the need to make peeps aware of my discontent and also because I need to talk things like this out. Before I begin I apologize Riley for not having posted yet or informing you of my temporary absence. I have a history of disappearing suddenly and not return for a few months, which I imagine makes anyone one of my unannounced absences unsettling. I just want you to know I have not lost interest.

Lately a lot of my RPs are being abandoned. Normally I don't really care, but recently ones that I had grown very attached to are being abandoned. I was very disappointed to find 0 posts in some of these topics......................... forget this I'm not feeling to well. Why do I feel like something really bad is about to happen? Now I'm lost.

Let me start by welcoming you back after your temporary leave, Kate. I wasn't too worried. You're an excellent administrator and member here, and in general you do well to keep up with things of that nature. Considering your recent change in work schedule (or rather, the change I assume occurred) and in general how life can sometime get ahead of you, I hadn't assumed anything negative against your character. You're busy, and we should always pay real life ahead versus the various manufactured ones we will lead on the Genesis Project in the name of storytelling.

Now, onto the actual problem. I want to know which RPs have been abandoned. I know that there had been one with Yudi and Alexander that has been unable to continue due to Elodie's sudden absence, but I realize that as you have various characters there are likely others. In regards to the aformentioned topic I had reached out to Elodie for comment a few days ago, but it may be safe to assume she's done here for one reason or another, and so we can simply move on from that topic.

In regards to other various topics, we can have a community poll over them and wrap them up that way, similar to the Ander incident. Seeing as you and I are also both involved in another one (you more than I) I feel that we could work together and devise a logical outcome. I understand how frustrating it must be.
