Canon Character Defaults

I had an idea for new writers, Starting Ideas! 
if yall like the idea i will make some vague default characters 
EX.
Rangers
Fighters
Mages 
Angels 
Paladins 
demons
ETC.
Ask me for a specific one and i can make a default of it 
check yes or no

First thing: misleading topic title. I'VE BEEN TRICKED.

Second thing: It's fine to help people with character creation, but the idea of making characters for the use of other people comes off as unnerving (at least to me) and while it's not forbidden I feel like it should be discouraged in favor of people discussing the creation of their own characters. That said, this could also be an excellent exercise in creativity. Depending on how it's handled, it really could be either off-putting or beyond excellent.

Starting ideas ideas for new members, on the other hand, seem excellent. In fact, I love a topic that details for newer members certain ways to approach bringing their characters to life, or getting themselves started on familiarizing themselves with their surroundings.

In reference the the list of classes below, it could be done also with familiarizing newer members with the basic archetypes. I already have an alignment list for the same purpose, so doing that would be a welcome addition. Perhaps, a subforum that celebrates and explains the older "classes" in some RPGs.

Aye, i suppose i can agree to this; although i don't think it should be left to one person, rather; the whole site can contribute to the creations; or we could possibly split it between me and Ray. (this is only a thought)

My honest opinion is that I don't mind it being left to a single person, as long as that person is informed and knowledgeable beyond reasonable reproach.

That said, I refer purely to the initial phase, because everything after relies on our input. With that in mind, having more people to create these topics in the beginning will certainly expedite the process, as well as enforce a generally more collaborative atmosphere on the project.
