New plots?

So guys, here is my idea: we use this thread and develop a plot that we are all involved in, discuss how and why, blah blah blah. Nobody is posting because, of course, there is nothing to post in. So, let's remedy that.

Omicron Division attempts to restart the omniverse, or at minimum invade all of it.

In their quest to obtain artificial godhood, certain 'scientists' amongst the Division have come up with the theory that whatever exists before the omniverse does automatically obtains godhood, as it would be the 'benchmark' or 'universal pin' for said omniverse. So, the Division plans to locate the Core, and find some way to either restart it, thus destroying the entire known Omniverse and beginning a new one, or destroy it in order to obtain the same purpose. If they are unable to do so, they would simply hold the Core hostage, thus allowing them to invade and completely control the entire omniverse, as it would be likely that even the gods themselves would not risk the destruction of absolutely everything just to try and destroy a group they have repeatedly failed to do so in the past.

That...might be an idea.
 
I feel like going for an Exalted-Type campaign/plot, where everything is rather high powered; and most of the exalted cast can go toe to toe with minor gods to start with; and they only get more powerful from there.
 
Rambling thoughts aside, I actually like the idea of omnidimensional assassin/scientists going for the heart of the omniverse in order to change it or destroy it for the same goal. I would think it would assist with the Exalted feeling for me personally, since there is a distinct 'guild' or 'White Veils' to it, and since they are a rather powerful group, i would say they could get it done if they tried.

If I can see more details on this, I'm very interested to try to being it to fruition. It seems like it could be the boost we need to activity.

We can always yank a page from the pantheons and legends of old. They have so many things we could try; that well hardly runs dry, I mean we've been scooping from it in various formations for thousands of years now.

I don't think we should shoot for anything *TOO* huge for our first major event. Something basic would pull in more people if we portray it in an interesting and unique light.

I agree with Pinky, and let me explain why.

We have an ongoing site plot of Solomon's creation currently. True, it takes place on a higher level that most other characters would likely never notice, and may very well never actually affect any of the smaller plots, that changes nothing of the possibility that it could do all of those things.

My point is that it's far too lethal and massive. Most other characters wouldn't be able to participate in this plot without being completely and utterly obliterated, because the players in that plot are significantly high tier. I'll likely form a community topic to discuss how to resolve this plot thread in due time, but as long as we can prevent something like this from occurring a second time (yelling at me for being stupid to consider that okay is a viable option) that's alright.

I would be okay with a pantheon-themed plot, but we should keep it small like Pinky suggested. In fact, I would suggest devising interesting plots for each of the worlds (not all at once) to drum up interest one world at a time, build a reliable base in the world in question and sequentially move onto the next. 

If that is the path we pursue, where should we start?

What about Radix? It is the melting pot of anything and everything- we could start there.
 
And we could supply goals for all of the tiers if we wished: the higher tiers doing the seriously important things- maybe if a lot of medium or lower tiers are feeling lucky they can as well.
 
We could do this by maybe having a mission page? or should we just be selective and maybe just a few people/staff would oversee everything?
 
Maybe we can tie in the A Sin Eaters as well?

EDIT: As for the scope- im pretty sure a bunch of people don't know about the omniverse in
 general, so if they do manage to get to another world it should be a big event.

My plot emitting arrays have recharged.

• A device roughly the size of a box that is capable of transforming a mortal into a god, or at least a significantly high-leveled Omega.
  
• A device roughly the size of a box that is capable of destroying a god, or at minimum turning them into a mortal.
  
• A device roughly the size of a box that contains a sealed god, or a fragment of one.
  
• A search for the omniverse's best chocolate chip cupcake recipe.
  
• A search for a legendary scroll that is said to lead to great treasures and fortune.
  
• The gods inexplicably become obsessed with cheese. (Totally not linked to Sheogorath's cheese obsession in Oblivion.)
  

In address to the first three suggestions:

The first is theoretically possible. Ryuu's sword, Dragonbane, is an artifact forged from a piece of the core itself. He was a normal human once, but the right catalysts in conjunction with the powerful relic gradually changed him into a Divine being. It would take more than just the box itself, but if the box could be created then you have a method to start. However, obtaining Dragonbane was a fluke, an accident that nobody knows about-- not even Cain. Suhb managed to metaphysically tear a small piece from the core during the final stage of a Resonance Event. While that knowledge is not necessary exclusive to Suhb, it would be difficult for most beings to come across. Alternatively, an object like this could have already have been created and merely located, which would just involve creating the right series of events.

The second is also possible, but for different reasons than assumed. A God can never be made truly mortal. They will always have immortality (though, Gods are capable of killing other Gods, and the events of the Black proved that with enough time and reason mortals can develop weapons to commit Deicide). However, Gods can be contained in mortal shells like they were prisons. A Mortal Body contains within it a spark, the very essence of sentient existence which is one of the most potent sources of energy in the world. An object that could force a God into a mortal body could depower them for as long as they were trapped in that form. 

The third is also possible for the same as the first, though it would need to be less of a Box and more of a mortal shell, unless it wasn't so much a piece of the God but rather its power.
